Apple introduced the need for a “Secure Token” to be held by a user in order to update their computer in recent versions of Mac OS. In most cases, the “Secure Token” is held by either Tech Admin or Admin and needs to be passed to you, the end user. The instructions below will guide you through passing this token so you can update your computer.
